I do find it interesting that I cannot find folks working in this style digitally. For me, they are two different media and really are not comparable. And please, I don’t want to get into a discussion on the pros and cons of working traditionally versus digitally. But, I’m sure working digitally is vastly different in feeling from working traditionally. I have to admit that I love the practice. I’ve never been trained in either, just read a few books, watched a lot of You Tube tutorials, and practiced myself. If you have followed the blog, then you know I love Asian style paintings, especially Chinese brush work and Japanese Sumi-e. During this preliminary painting, I am making brushes and tweaking the process. Some are successful and others not so successful it is all part of the process. I am saying that before a post, I have to do a lot of paintings. Well, today, I thought you might be interested in seeing what leads up to a post about how to do stuff. Normally I post information about stuff Corel Painter or Wacom Tablet related, as well as tutorials on how to do stuff. If it were an exhibit at the Louvre Museum, it would take about 10 days for that many people to see it. This blog was viewed about 240,000 times in 2014. The Louvre Museum has 8.5 million visitors per year. Anyway, if you interested, do check out the stats below. It would be so cool to have visitors from every one of them. Since WordPress has kept records, there have been visitors from 186 countries. This year there were folks visiting from 181 countries. I am most interested in where the visitors to the blog live…or I guess where they were when they visited the blog. ![]() It is pretty cool I always enjoy reading it. Once again WordPress developed an annual report for my blog. ![]() My new knee is amazing and I love it…I’m able to get around like a kid again. I also had a bit of surgery…a total knee replacement…fantastic BTW. Now it is up to Joy to keep working hard with physical therapy and continuing to improve. So, I have been in Mississippi for over a month helping her making the house suitable for a handicapped person. Joy wants to stay independent and live alone in our family home, which we have been in since the 60’s I think. ![]() It is just the two of us left in our family neither of us have kids and we have outlived everyone else. My sweet sister had a stroke a year ago last September and needed some help. I haven’t posted in a while life keeps getting in the way of fun. So, I thought I better post this information even though it is late. However, I have had several folks ask me about it in the last two days. By the time I realized something was amiss, it had been weeks, so I thought all of you would know what to do by now. Since I was at my sister’s when all this happened, I didn’t pay any attention. The guys at Corel developed a solution and published it in the Corel Painter Knowledge Base in an article called Painter Users with. If you installed the update and you tried to open Painter, it simply would not open or you got an error messages telling you that you needed to reinstall Painter, which wouldn’t work either. However, this time, there was some sort of conflict with Corel Painter 2015, Corel Painter X3, Wacom tablets, and Microsoft’s NET Framework. If you are like me, you have your system set to automatically download and install Windows Updates. This came automatically with a Windows update. Microsoft had an update of its NET Framework software. How are these packs different from the packs for Painter and ParticleShop? These Essentials packs include 10 of the 15 brush variants from the full packs available for Painter and ParticleShop and are intended for use only in Painter Essentials 6+.Sometime last month I believe I am not exactly sure.
